Guide for selling Motion Graphics template

What we want

• Text animation presets
• Lower-thirds with embedded graphics
• Title cards with embedded graphics
• Icon animations

Motion Graphics templates

Requirements:

• Resolution (Horizontal): 1920 x 1080
• Resolution (Vertical): 1080 x 1920
• Created by After Effects CC 2019 and above (.mogrt)
• Created by Premiere Pro CC 2019 and above (.mogrt)

Accepted file format:

• Prepare a separate Zip (.zip) file for each template.
• Max file size: 4GB
• Zip file should contain:

1	Motion Graphics template file (.mogrt)
2	Consolidated media files
3	readme.txt document, including: Instructions on how to use and customize the template, and Links to download any fonts, plugins and/or music used in the template

 

Step 1: Prepare

DO NOT USE registered trademarks or URLs from other marketplaces as this is not allowed by the respective trademark owners

Do use:

• Asset resources for template Artists

Fonts

•  Use only Adobe / Typekit fonts

Video footage codec requirements:

Without Alpha	With Alpha
H.264 ProRes 422 *	Quicktime Animation ** Quicktime PNG GoPro Cineform * ProRes 4444 *

* for templates compatible with Adobe versions cc2015.3 or newer
** i.e. keyframe intervals must not be greater than 1

Rejected video codecs:

• Avid codecs such as 'DNxHD' & 'DVvideo'
• 'RAW' codecs
• 'MPEG1/2' codecs
• All Quicktime 7 era formats and codecs including:
  1. JPEG2000, Photo-JPEG, Cinepak, Graphics or Sorenson Video,
  2. Any codec not listed by Adobe in this article, including: JPEG2000, Photo-JPEG, Motion JPEG

• Name your zip file similar to your project file (this name will be used as the Element Title)

Step 3: Preview Video

Preview video requirements:

• Video codec: H.264 (.mp4)
• Resolution: Same resolution as template

TIP: Upload Tutorial (optional)

As some of our buyers may be beginners, it's good to include a simple tutorial on how to use your template.

You can upload the tutorial at any point, even after the template is published.

The tutorial can be created using a screen recording software (Quicktime); consisting of a screen capture of yourself opening the template, replacing placeholders, customizing the text or other settings, and lastly rendering as the final step.

Voice-over is not required.

Tutorial video requirements:

• Resolution: HD 1920 x 1080
• Video codec: H.264 (.mp4)
• Frame rate: 15-30 FPS
• Bitrate: 8-12 Mbps
